PART 2: MEME (the dna of the soul)

Yes this is a game about memes. Twelve years before Metal Gear Rising. But more importantly, this is the game that got me interested in the series in the first place. I watched my dad play it when I was a kid, and the quirky characters and unique setting left quite the impression on me. It wasn't until the HD collection came out where I was able to play through it proper. I still regard it as a classic, and relevant to this very day.

I have been planning to go through the "Metal Gear Solid" series for a long time (at least 1, 2, 4 and "Rising"). Should I wait for the remake of the first game, or go through the original on PS1?

I would definitely recommend starting with the PS1 version. I wouldn't hold out for a remake any time soon.
