I need to stop posting.

Hey guys, here's my cover for The Order: 1886. My idea for this was to depict an old movie theater foreground while showing the actual cover for the game as the theatrical subpart. I focused more on the realism than official look, which potentially explain some "inconsistencies," like the fading. I have another version with a slipcover which will show as soon as the site updates, and one can view the regular cover via the "original" link. Pretty pumped I got to use my template.

I'd also like to give thanks to lucidhalos, FrankBedbroken, and Higashi89 in the WiP for their input.

Thanks for viewing!

you are on a roll at the moment my man really great stuff echoing what Vince said I love the old school theatre vibe and muted colour scheme, keep it up Martin!

Edit: on the slip case however i do think some of the heads of the crowd below could of been blended in better, maybe some over-lapping the image above, regardless tho good stuff.

I was conflicted because in my research of older movie theaters, the stage/screen was usually visible... I therefore decided to show the bottom of the screen for synonymy. I totally see what you're saying though, it throws me off too. I'll see to changing it.

Oh awesome slipcase there but I wish you could place the actual box art, not just the slipcase over it, somewhere in the presentation

this is just one really elaborate and talented joke about how the order 1886 is a movie and not a game isnt it

I absolutely love this box. Really dig the slip cover's diamonds.

On the actual box, I'm not really digging the big difference in between the knot logo and the rest of the box in terms of tone and saturation - ie. the tone the blue accents seems to be doing it a little better to me, if the high contrast is intented I would have liked to have the same tone on the back's accents as well. Not digging the white line on the template fully as well, I think an 80% white grey would have done the same job without being as harsh.
Please mind though, both remarks are both nitpicking and heavily based on personal taste

I look again and I agree with your opinion regarding the template, I'm not too sure about the logo one because I think that has to do with reflectance, but as usual I will explore it and update soon. Thanks!

Kind of feel like the projector shouldn't actually be on the box itself (kind of just makes the front feel squished), but I do like the old timey vibe a lot.

Shouldn't this be in the humor section? ;) I like your take on this though.

Artistic or not, this game truly has it all: Story, Stealth and Steampunk (what more do you want?) an actual playable game that last longer than an extended motion picture :\
