Pocket Monsters Red and Blue Versions box art cover

Was made for the Atari competition thingy before I noticed the submitted boxes were supposed to be Wii/PS3/360. Oh well. Found the art through Google but can't find the original artist anywhere even through reverse search to credit them.

UPDATE: Found the original art so credit to R-SRaven on Deviantart. :)

Looks amazing I was going to do this too till I saw the same thing haha. You probably shouldnt use that tag though since it isnt eligible for the comp.
Looks so good though, creative and I love the art.

Amazing. The artwork is mindblowing. Too bad it's not your own, but great design. I like how you implemented the pokéball!

All in all a very neat and the design fits a more adult approach to the game.

Nice work, though I reckon the "Gotta catch 'em all... one player" would have looked better if you had reversed them. What I mean is that you switch the "Gotta catch em all" with "One player". It would maybe look better and make more sense.

Actual Atari boxes have the player count on the bottom line though, just mimicking that :)

@lightsamus Oh, right, I didn't know that.

Awesome work dude. This should be an exception to the Wii/PS3/360 rule.

I was just gonna say, this isn't on Wii/PS3/360. But with so much effort put in, it should be an exception.

Thank you for the amazing feedback guys! I think I'm going to tag it with the competition tag just in case Reed is feeling generous. Not likely I'll win anyway, but it'd be nice to amongst the best if possible :)

That is so awesome. Props to the artist (and of course you for putting this together so beautifully)!

Great work! Only thing is that the text on the presentation (title + your name) is huge and distracts from the boxes. Would really recommend either removing it or at least reducing the font size by 75%+.

As for the contest, yeah, unfortunately not eligible. It'd be unfair to other participants to make any exceptions. Consider it good practice though and make one with a valid game.

Why are portable games not allowed, anyway?

Awesome, very creative idea. Although I have to agree that the text on your presentation is a bit distracting...would be cool to see some screenshots :)

I should be counted lucky that I don't have to compete against this.
