#3, I didn't think the presentation size was all that small. I can make it bigger, and I will tone down the stars when I go to add the printable on this.
Thanks to everybody that has commented and faved! I finally feel like I'm hitting my stride as a designer.
I really like this one, the feeling is clear in the box. Best of luck in the comp (if it's still not finished).
I have made a box as well but my internet stopped working and couldn't enter it in the comp.
I can see how you had a fun time making this, it's always fun to create a box that gives out some emotion. :)
I feel like although this box isn't the most well made out of the boxes entered so far (don't get me wrong, it's not bad by any means), the emotion is most apparent in this one. I commend you on that.
#11, Thanks, Joel! Oddly enough it just came right together after looking at the main image I used for the front. With the back, I wanted to show my emotion with the words and the image of Vincent reaching out for his redemption.
Here's my submission for Round 1 of KoopaDasher's OctoberFest.
Round 1's theme was Emotions, and the one I chose was Regret.
I had a great time throwing this together, and I'm glad I can finally share it with the rest of the site.
I rendered some of my own images, but some also came from Planet Renders, such as the Vincent on the back and the Sephiroth on the front.
This is a box I always wanted to do, and once I realized how well this could work with the competition, I went for it.
Any comments and/or favs welcome!

Wow this is great, the emotion is really apparent, especially on the front. The typography on the back looks good too, awesome job!

Good.
I think some of the stars over the presentation, take away from the presentation.
Why is the presentation so small?

Excellent work, tleeart. Great design, and I'm quickly becoming a fan of your new style of presentation.

I hate this awful game, but this box is great.

#6, Thanks! Somehow I enjoyed the game to some extent, the concept for it was certainly a great idea, but Square-Enix just couldn't pull it off.

#9, Well, there are some really great artists in this comp, so I can see your point. I'm glad the emotion does a good job of seeing it's way through.
#8, That's a shame that you ran into issues. I would love to see what you did.

Great stuff man. Regret is a hard emotion to depict, especially with preexisting artwork, and you've done it expertly with this piece.
