This one was though. Since there are no high-res renders for Utena I had to redraw them, something that took a total of... many hours. After spending so much redrawing I decided to keep the design itself simple and clean. Personally I love how this turned out and hope that you guys will think the same.

For those of you who are not familiar with the anime I really recommend you to check it out. The plot is fantastic and filled with symbolism and suggestive elements, the characters are unique and lifelike and the music is simply superb. It's kinda like Evangelion but without robots and with a fairytale-ish spin.
#3, I can understand about the semicolons but what do you mean that the images looks similar? The clothes they are wearing differs, the ones on the left are the battle-versions while the other are the normal ones. I wanted to show of the duality of the show, on one side it's carefree school-life and on the other it's agony and complex emotions, two of the keypoints of the series.
#6, Ok, well their hair sure is in a vibrant color-scale compared to the other parts so it's not really strange that they attract the focus, especially with the rosy overlay I added ^^'
#7, I think it would be hard to top your GL-box but maybe someday ;)
#8, You would like that wouldn't you? I don't think so but the anime is partially about discovering their sexuality and that means some lesbian undertones.
I love you.

You gotta start putting Semicolons in the database titles. Without them it looks weird.
Like the background designs of the boxes, but the images look similar.

I meant the positions are similar and the same characters are in the same spots, if i wasn't really looking at it, I'd figure it was the same picture.
Eyes are really drawn to the pink and blue hair, from there you have to notice at everything else.

Version 2 up, made some minor changes with the color, added an reflection and toned down the brightness of Anthys hair.
