It's all very blurry. And saying it's humour is not an excuse, it's not funny and you should put effort into each and every box you do regardless of the fact it is humour or unofficial. I don't want to sound harsh but to be honest, most of your work is not rank 6 standard at all.

Ooh. I'm really annoyed.

You are not doing anything right at all. The 3D is about it. Why are you this Rank? I personally think your of a Rank Two boxartist skill, you never seem to improve after each box, and seem to completely ignore and dis-regard critism. Again, back to my question. You are this Rank for one reason, you and your 'little group of friends' simply favourite each others boxes, and see them as good. This is because they want the favourites to every single one of their boxes back. Its a endless cycle thats slowly helping you gain Rank. I won't name anyone, but looking through a few of your boxes it becomes obveious who these 'cuprits' are. Another reason why your getting to this Rank? You simply post endless amounts of almost effortless boxes, with the same reclyced layouts and designs. Come on, you have 143 boxes with 421 favourites. Thats not a good ratio, and means on average your getting under 10 favourites. You becoming Rank 7 now, shouldn't be any kind of achievement. It should be a de-merit.

And no. I don't think this comment is 'harsh' in anyway. On a number of occasions I have tryed to Crit you, and help you, simply leading to a comment like 'Thanks for the crit. I'll get to it' and never doing anything, or 'Thanks. I'll add it to my next box' and that doesn't improve.

If you want help, you need to start listening. You are slowly getting better, I've seen this in your Resistance 2 box. But still, realize that in anyway, you do not deserve Rank 7. Not yet anyway.

PDN is powerful. Take a look at Sven's/Sven.2007's page. He uses PDN, and his boxes are stunning. A lot of the great artists on the site use it, so don't even bother to attempt to use that as an excuse. And no, Rank Two was fair.

One of the things I did when I started up is that I went to a good artists page, looked at one of his boxes, and recreated, trying to mimic all the things perfectly. It seriously helped me, so you should try it. The other thing is just to keep trying, and asking people for honest critique, and also experimenting with everything your program can do. As for inspiration, no one can help with that. For me, it goes, cannot make a box, then in a few days it will simply come flooding back.

didn't you get that portable photoshop i sent you i suggest you learn to use it there are a lot of video tutorials online you just gotta look.

if you say PDN is powerful enough then why dont you try learning photoshop so you can do what you want.

if your really interested in making great boxes then learning is a key in doing that
