2nd box and I think it was pretty good. Other then poorly cut out nes logo and all the blurry stuff. I'll be making a sequel (i dont know if that was spelled right) but yeah what you think. Mario Madness was the sprite source.
I don't think you should make a sequel until you finish this box.
You really shouldn't rush WIPs. This box had potential, but it feels half-done. Spend more time on your boxes.
For starters, I can see you're using MS Paint. That, unless you're extremely skilled, is a big boxarting no-no. If you have PhotoShop, I recommend you use that. If you don't, you should use Gimp; it's a very good free alternative to PhotoShop. You can download it here: link
There are several thing you should fix. First, your template is awfully squished. Second, your logo is choppy, and it's just plain text. That "description" on Toad's left feels out of place; had you made a back, that could have been a good tagline. Also, your background is a plain shade of light blue; very boring, very bland. This box is made up of a plain color sky, that ground, and that one toad render; it is largely unexciting, and would not make me take interest in the game.
Overall, this is not so good, but don't get discouraged. I think you were trying the best you could with a basic program like MS Paint. Download Gimp, and get back to the drawing board. I'm sure you'll learn quickly.
im not getting gimp. And i will try to make the sky have,well "clouds". But this is a NES box, the template was extremely hard to find, and I wont do anything about it
