Good design, but I really don't like the fact that you used old artwork. Ruins it for me.

Okay, a little background on this. My template, first off. Also, my logo.
Sonic Art Archive link and Sonic Style link for the Sonic art.
The background artworks were by Syd Mead, the artist who designed everything for Blade Runner.
This is my Round 1 for Moogle's Tired but True competition. Hopefully, this fares well in the competition, I worked several days on this.

The front design is solid as usual and I really don't have any problems with the temp.
But it's always the back where I don't like it very much. I know that I always pick on your back designs, but that's really where I see major faults on. Most of the time, they're either too empty or too crowded. For this one, it's the latter. I really don't think the placing of Dr. Eggman is necessary there and I get the feeling it's just to fill space. What makes it worse is the text that's slapped on him like that. Some awkward tagline positioning (upper line too close to the temp) also abound.
Well, there's my usual crits. I like the front design and the light vs. dark contrast throughout the front and back is commendable. I would say something about having too many unnecessary junk on the canvas...but you probably won't listen anyway. :/

#6, I didn't feel that I slapped Eggman in, but I can see what you mean. Hmm, I should bring down that tagline.
What would you recommend me removing from my presentation?
EDIT: Removed Eggman and edited my presentation for less clutter. Is this any better, LK?

#7, It's gonna be hard to bring the tagline down...unless you move or alter the image underneath it. :P
Just give your backs a bit more breathing room next time. Glad you can take crits though. Alot of graphic artists that I've met hate taking crits, so you can imagine how happy I am right now. :D
For the presentation, I have no room to suggest to take off the logo since it's redundant; I would be guilty of that as well. You could do away with the date considering every box comes uploaded with a date underneath it. Also, you already have your insignia on there to stand for your username.
I think it would be best if you kept all the presentation text elements centered...unfortunately, the inclusion of the cartridge prevents that which literally "splits" the design when it should be unified instead.

#8, I've played with it a little and removed Eggman, so I think the box itself is better now.
As you can see I removed a lot of junk, and I'll probably swap out the text with my name for my insignia. Maybe I'll remove the ds card and think about centering text elements. I'll try some different things out in the future and run them by you if you don't mind.
