Credit to Dan Luvisi for the Masterchief artwork. I worked a long time on this trying to get it just right. I did a LOT of editing, creating, and all kinds of stuff in Photoshop. I plan on making a back soon, but Ive got a shitload to do. Enjoy - feedback/compliments/criticism/favorites are welcome.

I dont really like it too much, it looks too much like a happy game with the blue sky. Its a too plain and as for the logo, its not bad but it doesnt work for the box. ESRB and devs seem to be too small. Aside from all that it is very clear and and clean cut, but I would rate it a 3/5.

Make the BG dimmer with more orange, red, black, and purple, etc... and use the official logo. and 3/5 is a way of expressing average

#6, believe it or not, I used the official logo in the beginning, and it looked horrible. So I decided to go for a Halo:CE-like feel, which I, personally, think works. Its too late to go back and edit, I didnt save a PSD version, I saved this final product as a PNG. So this is the final version unless I make a back.

Its not bad. But Halo 3 is going to finish this whole war and what not, the artwork should be sad and emotional, (much like the official box), were as this is more of a brighter theme to the game. But I do like it, my only problem is that its a tad bit plain to be honest.

I respect the effort, however I do feel that the box is empty. You could've put Master Chief, Arbiter and/or Sarge Johnson behind the shield. A tad more action going on in the background would have made it even better.
I'm also not too fond of the squares below, they seem slightly random and out of place in context with the box. Also, the shield, as I stated in your WIP thread, is a bit too dark and sticks out in the surronding brightness.
Never the less, good job. It at least is something different from other Halo 3 boxes.

...By the way, before anyone goes accusing me of just slapping a logo on a "wallpaper"...look closely. The amount of editing I did is quite strange (alot). I added more trails in the sky, I made the background wider so Master Chief wouldnt look cluttered, I messed with some gravel, fixed some problems with the background, and made the colors look a tad sharper. So work DID go into this. I just had trouble making that logo stick out alot. That is pretty much the best I can do on the logo. Enjoy

It is art work from IGN that I edited. I am not sure if it is the Halo 3 chief though.
