This is kind of an monumental moment if you think about it, no other box will beat its record for the longest time it took to get into the Hall of fame. For all I know, this was a strategy in order to lure Reed back to the site to deal with the recent problems.

If this were posted by an average user nobody would care about it because it's an overall mediocre image. I've no doubt that Reed didn't obsess over his project(s?) the way we all do, at the time I'm sure it was just a casual hobby.
My point is, though, that people just see that it's either the first box on the site, or Reed's box, or both, and feel compelled to drop to their knees so that they may one day be promoted to Moderator status.
That's how smaller, more personal online communities work, guys.
